Hearing Instrument Evaluation and Fitting

Following your hearing evaluation, you and your audiologist will sit down and go over the results of your tests as well as answer any questions you may have.  Your audiologist will discuss with you specific aspects of your lifestyle and the difficulties you may be experiencing due to the hearing loss.  Amplification styles and technology levels  will be discussed.  Following this discussion, if you decide to proceed, hearing instruments will be ordered for you.  Upon receipt of the instruments in our office, they will be entered into the computer and thoroughly evaluated prior to your fitting appointment.

At your fitting appointment, your new hearing instruments will be programmed to a starting level for your hearing loss.  You will be taught how to use and care for the instruments.  You will be seen again at follow-up appointments for addtional programming and to address any questions you may have as you become acclimated to your new instruments.
